Skoda Kushaq Matte edition looks beautiful at Rs 16.19 lakh

The Skoda Kushaq Matte edition basically sits between the Skoda Kushaq Style and Skoda Kushaq Monte Carlo. Evidently, only 500 units will be made, which makes Skoda Kushaq Matte edition explicitly a limited edition variant. And, of course, it will be on the basis of first come, first served.

Skoda Kushaq was launched in 2021 and since then it has not received an upgrade or a facelift. This new colour scheme will definitely be loved by the Skoda fans. Kushaq is the successor of the Skoda Rapid which is known for its performance and handling.

The Skoda India unveils Skoda Kushaq Matte edition. Moreover, it will come with the 1.0l TSI and 1.5l TSI engines. For each engine, both choices are available, manual and automatic. But only 500 of the Skoda Kushaq Matte Edition are available, though. We wish that Skoda has made few more units of Skoda Kushaq as 500 units are too less. It will go out of stock in few days.

Skoda always bring matte editions of their vehicles. ‘Rapid” was also launched in the matte edition before Slavia entered the market. Skoda cars look good in the matte color. And it does; as you can see in the images, the Skoda Kushaq looks more premium and badass.

The external paint color of Carbon Steel is in matte-finish on the Skoda Kushaq. Whereas the door handles, wing mirrors, and rear spoiler are glossy black. On the other hand, on the grille, tailgate garnish, and window lining chrome finishing looks gorgeous. Likewise, Volkswagen Taigun also recently received a similar treatment.

The Matte Edition’s feature set is based on the top-tier Style trim. But, it gets a bigger 10.0-inch touchscreen with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto from the Monte Carlo trim. Also, over the Style trim, it additionally receives a 6-speaker audio system with a subwoofer. 

To be noted, Matte painted cars require extra care. It must be protected by various paint protection methods or it looses its charm. You should always park it in shade like basement parking.

The new edition is Rs 40,000 more expensive than the standard Kushaq Style variation. Starting at Rs 16.19 lakh for the 1.0 TSI manual, Rs 17.79 lakh for the 1.0 TSI automatic. Furthermore, the 1.5 TSI Kushaq Matte edition manual price is at Rs 18.19 lakh. While the top-spec 1.5 TSI automatic will cost Rs 19.39 lakh.

Skoda intends to keep the Kushaq lineup interesting by introducing the Matte edition. As a matter of fact, the Kushaq and the Slavia are still waiting for updates. Particularly, Skoda thinks this new model will follow in the footsteps of the Kushaq Monte Carlo. 

Monte Carlo undoubtedly has already achieved a distinct place for itself. It brings the top-notch quality which is of the level of BMWs and Mercedes.

The Skoda Kushaq Matte edition will continue to compete against many SUVs in this segment. It is the most competitive segment and a matte edition with only 500 units won’t make a big difference. Anyways Skoda lovers will definitely go for it for their love towards the Skoda brand.
